讲座摘要：This talk aims to give an overview of more than 40 years research activities in the field of the modelling and control of biological systems. It will cover different aspects of modelling, analysis, monitoring and control of biosystems, and it will be illustrated by a large variety of biological systems, from environmental systems to biomedical application via food processes or plant growth.
讲座人简介：Denis Dochain，教授，IEEE fellow, IFAC fellow。出生于比利时，1986年在比利时法语鲁汶大学获应用科学博士学位，现任比利时法语鲁汶大学荣休全职教授，在加拿大蒙特利尔大学工学院、法国LAAS-CNRS研究中心、加拿大女王大学等工作了10多年。主要从事完全分布参数系统、非线性系统、参数估计、自适应控制、极值搜索控制以及相应的生物过程、化学过程、反应扩散过程的应用等。担任自动化控制领域顶级期刊IEEE Trasactions on Automatic Control的高级主编和Automatica的副主编，SCI II区期刊Journal of Process Control的主编、SCI期刊Trends in Systems and Control、Bioautomation的副主编，《加拿大化学工程杂志》顾问委员会成员等。出版专著5本，发表论文400余篇，Google scholar引用次数15000多次。
